He was born and raised in the south end of New Bedford, Massachusetts. At an early age, Neil found himself with an interest in drawing, especially amongst neighborhood houses. After some high school design classes, he found himself with a clear direction for college and entered into the study of architecture.

Neil was quickly drawn to architects such as Frank Llyod Wright and projects such as Falling Water. So much so he has a half sleeve tattoo featuring architecture buildings that show design concept, planning, and built forms.

The belief that you should never stop learning and explore the things you are interested in and passionate about, is one of the driving forces behind Neil’s attitude and approach toward almost everything he does in life. Its what founded the beginning of 8TFive Studio and continued to grow into a fantastic small studio focused on client experience, innovative new technologies, and employee satisfaction.

Neil’s love for adventure has taken him across New England and the Caribbean Islands, as well as Hawaii and the Azores to name a few.  He has been sky diving, white water rafting, rock climbing, soon bungee jumping, jet skiing, and swimming with sting rays & sharks, but the biggest adventure currently is being a Dad, Husband, and Coach.
