If You don’t use Houzz com, You Should

We have used Houzz.com for some time now. Even before our company profile was created, architect and owner Neil Silva used the website as a means for browsing inspiration.
It is a platform for home remodeling and design, bringing homeowners and home professionals together in a uniquely visual community.
A great way to help organize and explore different ideas for any home renovation, addition or new construction project you might be considering.
They have expanded the website from its original conception to help merge the design professionals with the homeowners. As a result, it can potentially connect local clients with contractors, designers, architects and other design professionals.
Briefly how it works. You can search any term, room or keyword you’d like. Or you can browse through and narrow down images by project cost, style, size, etc. In addition, it is a great tool to quickly jump start your ideas. You can then develop them further into how it applies to your particular planned construction.

We recently had our architectural photographer Christian Scully from Design Imaging Studios document two previous projects we’ve completed in the past. Luckily, our client was very pleased with our work. She was willing to let us back in to take some photos. In fact, while also mentioning they might be relocating, she mentioned they would like to have us assist in the design!
Our largest project to date was a full new construction project which is being phased for future add-ons. The exterior decks have since been recently painted white and stained. Moreover, a large patio will extend the length of the large overhang in the back. Eventually a sunroom will wrap around the back corner. This will connect the patio that transitions to pool area.

Although we’ll also post projects here on our Portfolio, we’ll continue to share our images on a website. This site promotes the connection and inspiration between client and designer.
