Offering eDesign Services on our Etsy Shop

eDesign is a growing services offering an ultra affordable alternative to traditional interior design. Correspondence via e-mail, phone or video chat platforms like Facetime or Skype are used to create a custom room design for you. The result is a space balanced to meet your needs, style and budget.
It is a service we’ve always had in mind. Our goal was to offer design services to those who might not normally have considered utilizing a creative approach with a design professional.
However we were recently inspired by an Etsy Shop – BlondiesLoft run by interior decorator Catz Divirgilio. This shop highlights the success of potentially offering eDesign services.
8TFive Studio on Etsy
We opened our own shop geared toward eDesign for interior rooms and some minor additions to your home. The process essentially has you completing an online forum and style guide. We use these tools to help inform a conceptual development of your space. You photograph and measure the room. After that, we’ll help you do the rest from coordinating paint colors to selecting furniture and artwork to match.
What you receive?
- Your Customized Storyboard. A visual representation of all recommendations.
- Room Overview & Shopping List.
- Room Layout.
- One Round of Storyboard Revisions.
Collaborate from Anywhere
The benefit of offering eDesign services is offering a broad reach of home design to a greater audience. However, the challenges are obviously the technical hurdle of not physically seeing the space in question. This relies upon the client to properly document and execute the intended design concept.
Luckily we are experts in not only technology innovation but assisting others in its coordination and implementation.
