The client wanted an affordable unique family hope for a growing family that captures both privacy and connection. Open floor plan concept for keeping an eye on the kids was important with separate entertaining areas. Future expansions were planned for as a phased approach to development.

8TFive Studio utilized a separation of gathering spaces on the lower level, reflected by the traditional horizontal form of house balanced with an extruded second floor with private family areas. A phased approached allowed a multi-level deck to be underneath the overhang for large seasonal gatherings.
